Dear Prestige,
Having reached retirement my wife and I wanted to move closer to our daughter, son-in-law and of course our grandchildren but, property in Sussex had gone through the roof in recent years and so we looked into the possibility of a Park home. We had heard many good reports about Roundstone Park, Southwater the peaceful friendly way of life and the excellent way in which the estate was managed. We found an older home on a nice plot which suited us ideally as I enjoy DIY and we would have the opportunity to renovate it to our own taste. We put in an offer and moved in during October 2006. Unfortunately I had a stroke and so DIY was not an option and we looked for ‘’professionals’’ to start our refurbishment plans.
Our No1 priority was the bathroom and we chose a contractor who ticked all the boxes. They stripped the whole room and reclad the walls and ceilings with a ‘’maintenance free’’ decorative plastic cladding and installed a new suite with a shower instead of a bath. The initial end product looked great but 18 months later, 3 attempts to stop the shower leaking and a loose sagging ceiling we agreed compensation and luckily with my health improving we set about the work ourselves, as it should have been done in the first place!
Our next priority was to completely upgrade the exterior and after the nightmare of the bathroom we were extremely thorough in selecting contractors to tender. One name that seemed to stand out above all the others was Prestige Developments, although their quote was actually the highest the attention to detail and service from the very first enquiry warranted further investigation.
We asked the park management and they spoke very highly of Prestige. We asked neighbours and friends and the same positive responses came back. So, we decided to book a visit and listen to what they had to say. Their Sales Director, Silvano Geranio came to our home and personally undertook to go through the whole process with us explaining exactly what Prestige could do and just as importantly how and why!
Having been in business for over 17 years, specializing in only Park Homes and working as closely as possible to the latest British standards for homes (BS3632) he filled us with complete confidence, that not only would the work be done to a very high standard but also that he genuinely cared about his customers, attention to detail and personal service.
The contract was drawn up to include cavity wall insulation, adding a new timber framework and installing ‘’cellotex’’ double foil backed insulation on top our original studwork, UPVC windows & doors throughout (manufactured by prestige) and a complete new Decra Tiled Roof with extra insulation.
Every step of the transaction was handled efficiently and professionally and the team (led by another director) turned up during a typical week in the summer of 2008…………wet, windy and generally nasty!! This did not deter the team in the slightest as they proceeded with the transformation of our home in a cheerful polite and enthusiastic manner with a real pride in their work! Nothing was too much trouble, putting wires in for me for outside lighting and piping through the walls for an outside tap! By the end of the week the transformation was complete, the site cleared and everything was cleaned up and polished to leave us with a beautiful home that looks brand new and is the envy of all our neighbours! and with the benefits of a double depth wall cavity and the ‘’celotex’’ insulation we have achieved better ‘u’ values and heat saving than a brand new home, reducing our heating bills and saving the planet along the way!

Hard Work, Skill and Efficiency
I just had to write to tell you how pleased I am with the refurbishment work carried out on my home by Prestige. A team of lads – Andy, James, Greg and Mark – came in February when the weather was extremely daunting. Nevertheless they were here on time every morning from Wellingborough, through snow, fog and cold winds. They worked relentlessly and were always cheerful.
I am delighted with the end result and I thank the team for their hard work, skill and efficiency. I would also like to thank Silvano Geranio for his patience, help and care and Mac for making a special journey to add some ‘finishing touches’. I think the ‘before and after’ pictures speak for themselves. The team was on site for just five days– really good going.

Remembering ‘The Professionals’
My wife and I are writing to express our thanks for the first class service provided by Prestige Developments. We feel we certainly made the right choice when looking for a refurbishment contractor and would not hesitate to recommend the company to anyone.
We can’t believe the speed at which the team of four worked. These considerate, kind and very experienced men worked like Trojans from their arrival to their departure. They are a credit to Prestige Developments.
The work they did was excellent – s first class job by the professionals. We are delighted with their work and nothing was too much trouble for them. When the job was finished everything was left clean and tidy.
The gentleman in charge of the team more than knows his job – it was a privilege to have him here. When we look around we will always remember ‘The Professionals’.

Five-day Transformation
I recently purchased a 30-year-old mobile home which was in need of refurbishment, so I contacted Prestige Developments. A representative came along to have a look and was very helpful. He measured up, gave some excellent advice and booked in my home for a ‘complete makeover’.
I cannot believe the transformation in just five days and I have had comments throughout the park. The work carried out was to the highest standard and included fitting new double glazing. The excellent locks to windows and bolts on doors have made me feel very secure and visitors have been extremely impressed. The group of men sent to carry out the work were always cheerful, very hard working and always willing to do that little bit extra to help everything go smoothly. I was particularly impressed with Mark, Marshall, Joe and Mick. When they left on the fourth day they even raked over the grass so that they didn’t leave any mess. They also hovered up inside and not a bit of rubbish remained. The most flattering comment I heard was “where did that old caravan go? I didn’t see them bring a new mobile on to that plot.”
In this day and age I didn’t think that I could find a firm that didn’t try to rip off customers but I have been proved wrong. There are good honest companies about with first-class workmen and Prestige is one of them.

New Roof – Utter Luxury
I am writing to recommend an excellent refurbishment service. I have lived for over 20 years in a 30-year-old Lissett Super Lodge. Each and every year I have coated my roof (and myself) with thick bitumen paint – not a job that I looked forward to.
This year however I was treated to a new Decra roof – utter luxury. After much research I chose Prestige Developments to fit my roof and I’m very glad that I did.
The lads that did the job were polite, friendly and very efficient. Shortly after work started, and all the edges were removed from my roof leaving me totally exposed to the elements the weather completely changed. The rain poured and the wind blew very hard. In spite of being soaked through they worked on and managed to get the roof watertight by teatime. They finished off the next day and did a magnificent job. I have seen the results of work carried out by other companies and I am very sure that I made the right choice.
I greatly enjoy the park home way of life and now I have my beautiful new roof the only drip in my living room is me!

Professional Prestige
I have just had my 36ft x 10ft Donnington Castle home refurbished by Prestige Developments and would like to congratulate the companion its professional service and friendly attitude.
All the ‘fellas’ were efficient, polite, tidy and friendly especially Carl, Mark and Richard.
One of my neighbours came round to admire the company’s handiwork and was very impressed.
